Figuring Things Out

We are still working on figuring out some technical details at our new home. Trying to set up SIM cards and getting the phones to work reminds me of the days when I was working for Concert and went to the UK a day early to try to get all the dial up connectivity to the US network working. I am also still waiting on our Portuguese banker to give me my PIN for online banking but he seems to be less interested in that than I am. At least our debit cards work. So we can get money out of
the bank here but can't access the online banking just yet.
In other news, we took a long walk through our neighborhood to a lovely area of shops and restaurants right on the Atlantic called Casa de Guia. We had a nice lunch in the sun. Chili charmed the waitress and continues to surprise us with her cool demeanor.
This is a big part of why we came here. I see more cliffside bistros in our future.

Lovely to discover your blog this morning and follow your firt steps in Portugal.
Chili is looking chill!
Chili misses me. I just know it!
We are so happy the three of you made it to your new home safely!! Lunch in the sun while gazing out to the blue sea sounds wonderful!! Cheers to all the wonder, adventure and beauty that await you!! We’ll be following along eagerly!!
Great news. Chili will be happy with you and doesn't likely care where he is. Awesome cliff views! Just don't start posting in Portuguese just yet. ;-)
