The weather here is getting a bit chillier, more windy, and more rainy. But our lovely town of Cascais is nicely decorated. They have a little Christmas train for kids that goes around the town. There are lights at most of the roundabouts on the roads. Downtown is very festive, with poinsettias planted in the medians.

Because we are not going to have a tree, we have discovered a very nice way to make use of our (empty) wine bottles to make our balcony festive. I have found that emptying those wine bottles also adds to the holiday mood. There are a few more bottles since I took this picture.
We are leaving tomorrow for a road trip north of here for a few days. We hope to see some big waves in Nazare and explore Aveiro (often referred to as the Venice of Portugal). Upon our return, we hope to go into Lisbon to take in the decorations there.

I love the "Bus Stop Present Wrapping". i love seeing festive lighting.
I'm enjoying your adventures. Merry Christmas!
So beautiful! Festive bottles too.
