It's Official!

We received our email this morning from the Portuguese Embassy in Washington that our visas have been approved. So we are really on our way. We will be departing Chapel Hill, no doubt looking like the Portuguese version of the Beverly Hillbillies, on Wednesday, December 16. Our COVID tests (required for flying) are scheduled for the next morning. Our flight departs Washington Dulles at 8 p.m. on Saturday December 19th. To say that we are excited is an understatement.
On the countdown? How many days from departure?
That's awesome! So glad that one more hurdle has fallen.
This is all too exciting! Now I have a reason to visit Portugal. Once the kooties subside I’ll make a plan!
Winnie and Will, I am SO EXCITED for your good news of receiving your Visa to Portugal!! It was 5 years ago tomorrow I boarded the plane from Boston to Ireland and it was the best decision I have every made.
