It took a little while to get the WIFI in our apartment sorted by it finally happened on Christmas eve. I suppose it would be rude to put it in the miracle category but it certainly seems like it. This also gave us enough bandwidth to be able to see You Tube TV using one of our Amazon Firesticks. This is also a big win. We have binged on several episodes of Jeopardy already.
We also have used the bus to go into town and get back home a couple of times. On Christmas Eve we went into town, had some lunch, and did some grocery shopping.
Today, we walked to Boca do Inferno (Hell's Mouth) which is an amazing rock formation through which waves enter and crash around. The tide was out when we were there and it was pretty tame but it was beautiful nonetheless.

It is a clear, cloudless day in the mid 50s. The breeze makes it feel cooler. That didn't stop us from sitting outside at a café for some lunch. After visiting the local farmers' market, which was just closing down, we took the bus back.
Tips for the day:
- Google Translate is a very cool app and I am using it frequently.
- Google Voice is another great find. We have ported our NC cell phone numbers to Google Voice, so you can go ahead and text us, or even call if you must, and we receive those messages.
