The Waiting is the Hardest Part

We took a quick trip to Washington, DC for our appointment

to submit our visa application. We enjoyed a lunch visit with Norma and Juan Rengel, friends we met on a Gate 1 tour last year.

Then we had dinner with nephew Andrew Rafferty. So the meals were good. The appointment itself was very efficient and quick. Happily we felt well prepared. The entire process took about 20 minutes.

So.....now we wait. We are hoping for approval in about a month.
